The XNX gas detection platform supports a wide range of sensors, including electrochemical, halogen, and ionization detectors. In addition, XNX is intrinsically safe, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
Fixed gas detection systems are available in ATEX-compliant versions. The most basic fixed gas detectors feature 4-20 mA outputs. Advanced models are equipped with alarm relays and digital communication. Honeywell SensePoint detectors are designed to monitor gas concentrations in ATEX zones. Reflex(tm) technology increases operator confidence in a gas detector

CETCI’s line of chlorine gas detectors features loop powered, 4-to-20-mA connections. These devices are suitable for new and retrofit installations, and feature easy-to-read LCDs and intuitive interfaces. Some models have fault-diagnosis software to simplify maintenance procedures. Moreover, they are built with intrinsically safe smart sensors that can be replaced without shutting down the system. Chlorine is a sticky gas, and it easily sticks to the calibration tubing. A chlorine gas detector should have Teflon-lined calibration tubing, or at least one meter or three feet in length. This prevents gas saturation and weakens the concentration of the gas entering the sensor. A CETCI chlorine gas detector never includes a splash guard. The splash guard interferes with the accuracy of the sensor. In addition, moisture in the air is corrosive, resulting in hypochlorous and hydrochloric acid.

The XNX transmitter meets intrinsic safety requirements for use in Class 1 and Class 2 industrial processes. Its enclosure is made of stainless steel or aluminum with a marine-grade coating and includes five threaded ports. The mPower UNI MP100 is a single-gas detector that measures chlorine (Cl2) from 0 to 50 ppm. It features an LCD display, six red flashing LEDs, and an Audible Alarm Port.
