The XNX Honeywell Universal Transmitter is a high specification universal transmitter compatible with a range of Honeywell Analytics local and remote gas detectors. This transmitter is designed to detect both flammable and toxic gas hazards. It is suitable for use in hazardous Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas in North America.

XNX is a simple-to-use, low-maintenance platform

XNX Honeywell is a low-maintenance platform that provides simple setup and configuration for industrial automation and control applications. The platform utilizes Modbus communication to connect to other devices. The protocol supports up to 247 slave nodes. The communication is initiated by the master node and the slaves never transmit data without the master’s request. There is only one master node on the serial bus at a time, which facilitates bus wiring.

The XNX platform supports eight languages. Each language has different screens, including a display of the current date and time. Each language’s screen has three options for the user to select. The Set Date selection lets the user set the current date. They can select the day, month, and year.

XNX is available in several enclosure types and configurations to meet the requirements of various applications.
